It is learnt from sources that Capgemini will increase its employee strength from 18,000 to 30,000 by the end of 2008 because of growth in business operations.

It has operations from Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore.

To have a cut on the attrition rate of their employees, Major IT Companies, where the attrition is at its peak. Companies now brought in a new element called "Stability" in evaluation of the candidates. Candidates who have changed their jobs on an average one in three years will have more chances of getting hired with a high hike. The new policy in evaluation has already its impact in reducing the attrition around 4%.
